Have you heard? Starting this month, you’ll be able to borrow a carbon dioxide (CO₂) monitor from any of Nova Scotia’s nine public library regions.

What is a CO₂ monitor?

CO₂ monitors allow individuals to keep an eye on air quality. High readings may indicate that the ventilation around the monitor is not sufficient and that steps are needed to improve the air quality.

NOTE: The CO₂ monitors are not carbon monoxide detectors and are not life safety devices.  

How do I borrow a CO₂ monitor?

To borrow one of the portable battery-powered CO₂ monitors, check your library catalogue:
